YakiYan Restaraunt
IDENTITY, SIGNAGE, MENU AND COLLATERAL DESIGN
When the Panda Restaurant Group wanted to open YakiYan, a high-end Japanese barbeque restaurant, they needed an identity that would work with the luxurious architecture and interior design established by Valerio Architecture and Interiors. Working closely with Tasso Stathopulos, the project’s Creative Director, we presented three concepts each with its own unique Japanese spin. After the Wagyu Concept was selected we refined the signage options, providing the client with detailed material options, production techniques, lighting options and detailed illustrations of the potential designs. Final detail plans were provided to the architecture firm so production and installation could begin while we finalized the designs of the menus and business papers. We also provided a robust graphic standards document that also outlined photography styles, and website look and feel.
