iNPEND

IDENTITY, PACKAGING, COLLATERAL AND PRODUCT DESIGN

While running a die-cutting job on his letterpress, Rob Barnes was trying to toss a pencil into the small rectangular hole cut out of the center of a stack of paper. Eventually, the pencil dropped into the hole and when Rob went to retrieve it he thought, wait a minute… He took a stack of those die-cut sheets, cut it to size and a couple of minutes later, the first prototype of iNPEND was created. Now patent-pending and refined to a point of near perfection, iNPEND is the best sketchbook available and I’m proud to have built the identity behind a product I love and use on a daily basis.
