Bubba’s Fine Foods

IDENTITY AND PACKAGING DESIGN

When one of the founders of Bubba’s Fine Foods made a life change and moved to a paleo diet, they turned to their friend looking for a paleo option to satisfy their cravings for a savory and crunchy snack. A couple of recipes later, friends became business partners and Bubba’s first line of paleo banana chips was ready.

With the growth of the company and the release of new product lines, Bubba’s looked to Workhorse 45 to develop a brand and packaging to help them not only get into the coveted natural foods icon, Whole Foods but to also set them apart from greens and natural earth-tone packaging that dominated natural grocery products and stores. Based on the concept of “High octane, low drag fuel for your body” the look and feel of Bubba’s identity was forged from the iconic look of America’s iconic muscle cars, with each era in their brief heyday used to distinguish the different product lines.
